Mr. Coyle

Jared Coyle is a music educator, conductor, and performer with more than 20 years of experience teaching instrumental, vocal, and classroom music. He teaches K–8 music in the Fortuna Elementary School District and is a lecturer in the Department of Dance, Music & Theatre at Cal Poly Humboldt, where he teaches clarinet.

In addition to his work as an educator, Jared serves as conductor of the Scotia Band and performs regularly as a clarinetist in chamber music and solo settings. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Fortuna Concert Series, where he works with guest artists and assists with concert planning and production.

Jared holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Cal Poly Humboldt. Through teaching, conducting, and performance, he works to promote lifelong engagement with music throughout the North Coast community.
